Established in 2001 by two brothers, Amit Gupta and Sumit Gupta, East West Combine, exporting and manufacturing readymade high fashion garments is now diversifying and adding nightwear to their products. The addition to the product profile will take place by the end of 2012. The company that caters majorly to buyers in Europe is now looking at buyers from Latin America as well. Amit Gupta, Partner of the company in conversation with Apparel Online elaborated on their recent developments, “We have started working with Latin America, as it is one of the fastest emerging markets right now. We are looking towards working with the new market, but plan to continue working with Europe as well, as we have not faced any issues working with that market till date and it is still giving us good business.”
The company located in Delhi has 100 machines in-house for production and manufactures apparel with quantities varying from 400 to 500 pieces for small quantity orders and 2,000 to 4,000 pieces for medium sized orders, in woven’s and knits. In addition to their expansion in their product profiles and buyers, the company is also planning to open a new unit with three hundred machines in 2013. “We are planning to study the market in the summer next year and any more changes will be done accordingly, after the analysis. While it’s too soon to give the details for the upcoming expansion, we can tell you that we are looking forward to the coming year,” concluded Amit.
