Fenix Garment Limited, which is a Chinese entity, is all set to invest US $ 40 million in the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) Economic Zone (EZ), with a view to establish a high-end apparel manufacturing unit.
The Chairman of Fenix Garment Limited Ma Zhuang and member (investment promotion) of BEPZA Ali Reza Mazid recently signed an agreement on behalf of their respective sides in this regard, maintained a press communiqué issued towards this end.
Meanwhile, appreciating BEPZA for providing a one-stop service to run businesses smoothly inside the EPZ, Ma Zhuang, reportedly claimed Fenix was going to be his third venture under BEPZA while adding he has been running two more manufacturing units in Cumilla and Chittagong EPZ already.
