The BGMEA is all set to organise the ‘Made in Bangladesh Week’ from 12 to 18 November 2022.
The event to be held in Dhaka and to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will, reportedly, highlight the contributions of the RMG sector to Bangladesh’s economy over the last 40 years.
This is for the first time, the BGMEA is holding such week centring the apparel sector, reportedly, maintained BGMEA President Faruque Hassan.
“Through this, we will be able to brand our industry,” reportedly, claimed Faruque, adding, “We will try to give message to the global forum that we are giving priority to sustainable industry.”
The BGMEA chair revealed this at a press conference held recently in the capital Dhaka.
