Bangladesh Government has formulated National Employment Policy 2022, which has identified a number of challenges hindering the skilled workforce generation in the country including the absence of public and private measures.
Reports maintained this adding, the policy also aims to create around 30 million fresh jobs by 2030 and thus keep the unemployment rate at lowest level by 2041 even if the Employment and Labour Ministry on 14 July issued a gazette notification to this end.
The policy has, reportedly, identified insufficient information regarding sector-wise demand and supply of skilled workers as one of the major challenges to generate skilled workforce, reports further added.
