Arvind Fashions Limited (AFL) observed a 27 per cent rise in net profit for Q4 FY ’23 at Rs 29 crore as the same was Rs 22 crore in Q4 FY ’22.
During Q4 FY ’23, the company’s revenue also rose by 24 per cent to Rs 1,140 crore, as against Rs 917 crore in Q4 FY ’22.
The company believes that the sales growth was led by a robust winter wear business aided by the late onset of winter and good end-of-season sales.
Revenue from the company’s power brands like US Polo and Tommy Hilfiger, which account for more than 80 per cent of the total, rose 26.2 per cent. Calvin Klein and Sephora, also reported a 16.8 per cent rise in revenue.
Shailesh Chaturvedi, MD of the company commented on results, “Our differentiated brand proposition across multiple categories and channels continued to attract robust consumer demand, resulting in company crossing milestone of Rs 4,000 crore NSV and an improved financial performance across all metrics during FY ’23.”
He further added that “We continue to expand our reach across the country and remain excited about the future potential to capture significant growth opportunities that lie ahead along with a sharper focus on improving profitability further and generating higher return on capital employed.”
