Water conservation and waste water management is a major concern for the world today with experts claiming that in the next 20 years, water demand will exceed supply by 40 per cent. For an industry like textiles which is using water in huge quantities, the importance of ‘water management’ to save water and also reuse and recycle water cannot be undermined. Supporting the industry with technology for waste water management the team of Euromec Janaksons is penetrating deeper into the industry with solutions that are tried, tested and appreciated.
After being awarded a project with Trident earlier at their plant in Barnala, Punjab, the Group has again awarded the waste water treatment plant contract for their upcoming Greenfield project at Budhni, Madhya Pradesh to the team of Euromec Janaksons. The Greenfield project is very critical to Trident, one of the largest terry towel manufacturers in the world, as they are substantially scaling up their capacities with this facility. The new process house will generate 9,000 m3/day (9 MLD) effluents, which will be treated and recovered through the revolutionary MBR and RO membrane technology.

“This would be the biggest MBR Project for Textiles Waste Water application in India in the private sector,” says Pranay Behl of Janaksons. The order is for a composite solution that includes biological plant with MBR, reverse osmosis in 3 stages recovering 92 per cent effluent and reject and solid waste treatment.
The MBR technology has an edge over the other technology as it requires less civil work, less mechanical equipment and it is easier to operate the plant to give sound results. “We really appreciate the way the highly competent Trident Group team has bestowed its confidence on our team not once but twice in a short span of 4 months, which has given them a big boost and the vision of Trident Management, who believes in bringing tomorrow’s Technology in India today, only made their self-belief and determination stronger,” says Pranay.
Janaksons and Euromec are geared up for the project and are more than confident that with the backing of their strong technical team, they will not only successfully execute the project but will also use this opportunity to create a niche in the market to revolutionize the zero discharge outlook of the industry in days to come.
