Redress, an NGO in the apparel industry, is extending an invitation to fashion design professionals who collaborate with manufacturers in China and Southeast Asia to participate in an innovative circular design research project.
In connection with the same, an extensive study has been undertaken in order to gain insights into the current state of the design phase within the apparel industry. This study is dedicated to comprehending the extent, influence, and limitations experienced by different professionals within the industry, including fashion designers, product developers, merchandisers, and pattern design technicians.
The findings of this study have the potential to inform industry practices, inspire innovation, and facilitate better coordination among professionals during the design phase, ultimately enhancing the overall efficiency and quality of the apparel industry.
Industry professionals who possess the necessary qualifications are strongly encouraged to actively participate in the survey, as their valuable input will contribute to a broader interdisciplinary research effort backed by the VF Foundation.
