Ralph Lauren has achieved a 33 per cent reduction in its absolute emissions compared to 2020, as revealed in its 2024 Global Citizenship & Sustainability Report. The report outlines the company’s efforts toward sustainability, innovation, and community engagement, marking significant milestones in its environmental goals.
Key highlights include the launch of innovative products such as the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Certified Denim Flag Trucker Jacket and the world’s first Global Recycled Standard (GRS)-certified 100 per cent Recycled Cotton Polo. The brand also introduced its first Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)-certified sweaters, showing its commitment to sustainable materials.
Ralph Lauren has also made strides in phasing out coal from its manufacturing supply chain. Another notable initiative is the launch of the Artist in Residence program, featuring Diné artisan Naiomi Glasses, which produced three signature collections aimed at fostering cultural partnerships.
Looking forward, Ralph Lauren is set to open the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention in October 2024 at the University of Southern California Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, furthering its dedication to health and community well-being.
