Lars Nielsen has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer, further enhancing the leadership team of United Colors of Benetton in India.
Nielsen has assumed a new position where he will lead the business and corporate finance division at Benetton India. His responsibilities encompass overseeing financial operations, financial planning, and analysis, as well as strategic finance management.
Ramprasad Sridharan, the CEO of United Colors of Benetton India, expressed his thoughts on the appointment in a statement, stating, “We highly value Lars’ extensive experience and strategic financial acumen, which will be instrumental in propelling our next phase of growth. We eagerly look forward to his valuable contributions as we persist in our pursuit of innovation and transformative advancements within our business.”
Lars Nielsen also commented, stating, “While the fashion industry is new terrain for me, I view it as an advantage to offer an outsider’s perspective on the growth trajectory that Benetton is currently experiencing in India.”
Bringing approximately twenty years of expertise in financial management, accounting, and strategic planning, Lars Nielsen joins United Colors of Benetton with a strong background. Before joining the company, he served as the Finance Director (APAC) at KK Wind Solutions.
