A fire that broke out inside a cotton warehouse of Shamim Textile Mill in the Gazipur area of Bangladesh early on 29th November (Tuesday) has been brought under control after almost 12 hours.
This is as per media reports according to which the fire started inside the warehouse around 12 am subsequent to which around six fire-fighting units from Joydebpur and Sreepur started efforts to bring the fire under control.
However, it took them some time to bring the fire under control as the warehouse where the fire broke out, had cotton, meanwhile reportedly underlined the Deputy Assistant Director of Gazipur Fire Service Abdullah Al Arefin.
In the meanwhile, officials concerned have reportedly maintained the cause of the fire can be determined after an investigation while also adding no injury or casualty was reported in the fire incident even if a huge amount of cotton was gutted in the same.
