Fat Face, the British lifestyle clothing and accessories brand, has announced that it will use 100 per cent recycled polyester by the year 2025.
The brand has said that there are more sustainable plans up their sleeve, which they plan to achieve by the said year. One among them is to use 100 per cent linen and viscose from sustainable sources.
What else! By 2025, Fat Face plans not to send any waste to landfill, end single-use plastic across all business and go completely carbon neutral.
Following its efforts to minimise the carbon footprints by 8 per cent in last 2 years, Fat Face has switched its product bags to recycled plastic. Here it is important to note that the brand increased its waste recycling rate by 45 per cent in 2019.
In next 5 years, the brand also intends to develop a sustainable fundraising stream to donate the equivalent of 1 per cent of its profits every year to its chosen charities.
