With a score of 69 from USGBC, Executive Greentex Ltd, an advanced garment facility with cutting, sewing, and finishing capabilities was awarded Gold certification. The factory is located in Mulayed, Sreepur, Gazipur, Dhaka.

According to the US Green Building Council (USGBC), Executive Greentex recently concluded a thorough examination of the project certification and performance data. The council honours factories based on several criteria such as transformation performance, energy, water, and waste management. The best performers are rated with platinum, followed by gold and silver.

Executive Greentex was founded by Meghna Executive Holdings (MEH), one of the largest business conglomerates in Bangladesh. MEH has diversified into Industrial Goods Manufacturing, Light Engineering, Apparel and Textiles, Exclusive Importer and distributor of world-leading Automobile Brands (BMW & KIA), Lifestyle Products (Kohler & Penthouse Livings), and Authorized Reseller of Electronics and IT Products such as Apple.

This addition brings the total number of LEED Certified factories in Bangladesh to 226, with 89 Platinum and 123 Gold-certified factories.
