Insuring safety and taking it as a motivational tool for its staff, CTA Apparels, a well known export house of Noida has given medical and personal insurance cover to 300 staff members with an investment of more than Rs. 3 lakh. Apart from 20 employees working in the field, it covers mainly those who were not covered under ESI benefit. These employees will get the benefit of medical claim according to their salary structure, an employee getting Rs. 30,000 will get claim up to Rs. 2 lakh. The maximum claim is of Rs. 5 lakh. Not only that, the same staff is also covered in the personal accident insurance in which he will get some part of his salary, if any accident happens and he/she requires bed rest or is unable to join factory for a few months. Ajay Mishra, HR Head of the company told Apparel Online, “We have 100% staff on pay roll and we are dedicated to provide them all the best possible amenities, this exercise is a part of our vision. In metro cities, health and safety are prime concerns, and we feel that this initiative will definitely help to motivate employees to be more committed.” The company has some more plans for the welfare of its staff and especially for operators, which will be implemented in stages and will definitely help operator’s families also.
