Keeping the immediate community and the society at large in mind, Matrix Clothing, Gurgaon organized a blood donation camp in its unit. The camp was organized in association with Lions Club, Sohna (Gurgaon) and AIIMS’s team. In all, 103 employees, including the middle and senior-level officers, donated blood at this camp.

“We got an overwhelming response from our employees. Many more employees had also volunteered for the camp, but could not participate due to shortage of time and blood collecting kits. We will be soon be organizing another such event,” a company spokesperson said in a statement, adding, “It shows the Matrix family’s spirit of service towards the society.”
Representatives of Lions Club-Sohna (Gurgaon) and AIIMS’s team appreciated Matrix Clothing for such a noble cause.
Manufacturing knitted polo shirt and embellished ladies garments, the BSCI and SEDEX-compliant Matrix Clothing has a workforce of 5,000 people, which made an export turnover of US$ 55 million (Rs 356 crore) in the fiscal 2014-15. The company has a long clientele list that includes Ralph Lauren, Li & Fung, Hugo Boss, Debenhams, Next and Nautica etc. It also runs the “Apparel Skill Development Academy” (ASDA) that focuses on training and providing necessary basic skills in the various aspects of apparel manufacturing. The company also supports Iimpact and Salaam Baalak Trust.
