EcoLine Clothing, the sustainable brand of Shree Renga Polyester Pvt Ltd and Bisleri International have teamed up to recover discarded PET bottles through Bisleri’s flagship program, Bottles For Change and transform them into premium fashion and lifestyle items sold under the EcoLine brand.
With the help of this collaboration, collected PET bottles will be turned into completed goods like clothing, bags, jackets and uniforms utilising EcoLine’s bottle-to-fabric technology, which uses nanotechnology and dope dyeing for increased sustainability and durability. The release stated that prior partnerships with the Royal Government of Bhutan and the Indian Army (Siachen) had demonstrated the effectiveness of this model.
