
Yunus Textile Mills Ltd., a Pakistan-based home textiles supplier, has successfully commissioned the SewEasy System for Industrial Engineering (IE). The newly implemented system has brought down spiralling labour costs of the company by applying automated IE methodologies to minimize variations inherent in the traditional labour costing framework.
Furthermore, it has also helped the textile manufacturer to reduce its piece rate variances below 10 per cent, thus increasing the international competitiveness of the textile company, which caters to global brands such as Walmart and Target.
