It is difficult to increase the customer base rapidly.”
Yin’s corporation with its Indian agent Studio Next, has made success certain for the company as Yin was able to identify the strong base of domestic manufacturers as prospective clients, which have been more or less neglected by other brands, who’s focus has been the apparel export fraternity of India. “The logic behind this strategy is that the exporters have already graduated in terms of technology whereas the domestic guys are still starting, making way for tremendous possibilities,” averred Vishal Sher, MD, Studio Next Inc. The company has recently installed numerous CAD/CAM systems in various small and medium sized retailors, mostly based out of Kolkata and Mumbai, many using more than 3 CAD systems. “CAD/CAM systems lay the foundation for further upgrading the cutting room to automatic cutters and spreaders. One of our CAD/CAM client’s from the domestic market recently bought a spreader and cutter, which I feel is a tremendous development,” added Vishal.

This cutter is suitable for apparels, automotive, upholstery, sailing boats, sleeping bags, back packs, leather, shoes and hats.
Highlighting company’s dominance in spreading, the Yin SM-III Automatic Spreading Machine, an intelligent fully-automatic spreading machine, combines the highest spreading technology and is suitable for knitting and tatting fabrics. While the girdle encoder system tracks fabric length, the spreader achieves zero tension spreading through its roller conveyor which does not drag the spread fabric in case of emergency brakes, and furthermore the air floating platen ensures that the fabric is not damaged when sliding on the table top. The spreader can be used in combination with the electric needle bed which can be used for check and stripe matching, while spreading and cutting.
