TUV Rheinland India, the subsidiary of independent inspection services provider TUV Rheinland, has set up a new testing facility in Gurgaon. The state-of-the-art facility will offer global standard testing for garments, home textiles, leather and footwear, toys, food contact material and fashion jewellery.
The lab provides diverse physical and chemical testing services for garments and home textiles. In a competitive retail market, where speed to market is the key, the lab will benefit exporters, importers, manufacturers and global retailers with its services.
The advanced facility also houses an expanded leather and footwear testing laboratory to help meet the testing requirements from EU and US retailers.

The facility is also approved by Zero Discharge of Harmful Chemicals (ZDHC) and offers wastewater testing services based on the regulations set by ZDHC and other retailers.
