India’s one of the biggest dyed yarn manufacturer and a KK Birla group company, Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd. (STIL) has made a declaration of putting its fabric division at Damanganga Fabrics in Gujarat to end. It has been said that the decision of shutting down the division is taken due to the unprofitable working. The company will now focus more on home textiles via expanding its manufacturing capacity for this segment from the existing 2.5 million metres to 9.6 million metres. Dilip Ghorawat, Director and CFO of STIL stated, “Capacity additions in home textile division will ensure further strengthening of its end-to-end viz yarns to home textile access.”
