Standard Textile, a leading supplier of end-to-end solutions for the institutional textile and apparel markets will expand its existing Union County manufacturing facility to house increasing terry towel finishing capabilities. The unit will be expanded by 39,000 square-feet and is expected to open doors for new partnerships and opportunities in Standard Textile’s yarn spinning, yarn preparation, and weaving processes. The expansion will create 35 new jobs at the unit. Founded in 1940, Standard Textile operates 29 manufacturing and distribution facilities in 16 countries, including two operations in South Carolina.
