Under a MoU which was recently signed in Singapore, Huntsman Textile Effects will help Queen South Textile Mills Ltd. to ensure it stays ahead in adopting the latest sustainability innovations. Huntsman will also support the company streamline its operations and optimize its processes by implementing a Productivity Improvement Program (PIP) at the company’s textile mill in Dhaka and providing technical support and staff training. The association will let Queen South Textile Mills maintain its leading edge through innovation while continuing to comply with the stringent requirements of its export customers around the world.
Queen South Textile Mills has already adopted advanced Huntsman Textile Effects technologies, including the market-leading Avitera SE dyes. “Bangladesh is an important market for us and we are pleased to collaborate with leading and like-minded companies here, such as Queen South Textile Mills, as they equip themselves to better support brands and retailers in building a more environmentally sustainable textile supply chain,” said Jamie Wong, CEO of Queen South Textile Mills.
