Pakistan registered 10.85 per cent increase year-on-year in cotton arrivals at ginneries. A total of 14.838 million bales have arrived compared to last year’s total of 13.385 million bales, according to the Pakistan Cotton Ginners’ Association (PCGA), in cooperation with All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) and the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA). Of the total arrival of 14.838 million bales, 14.829 million bales were pressed by ginners, of which 14.389 million bales were sold, leaving an unsold stock of 0.44 million bales with the ginners.
