It is good to see that mid-level companies of Mumbai are expanding and sure about growth in the coming year. Exporting various kinds of kaftans to the Middle East, Europe and North Africa, Tarang International, has witnessed 35 per cent increase of orders in the last six months and is expecting more good orders in the coming months. Jitendra K. Surana, Director of the company says, “Compared to last year we have seen awesome orders this year and we are quite enthusiastic about future orders from various buyers. Innovation is our strength, which attracts the buyers.” On the other hand Sabnam Exports, exporting knitted garments for women with embroidery and tie & die techniques, has installed 200 machines recently to improve its delivery and reduce its dependency on job work. Now the company has a total of 250 machines. Rajesh Kumar Surana, Director of the company reasons, “We are participating in some international fairs in Japan and Europe this year, and our improved capacity allows us to cater to more buyers now.”
