Trigger Apparels, one of the most well-established menswear brands in India, is now planning to venture into womenswear segment.

President of Trigger Apparels, Sailendra Thulasidharan, told Apparel Resources, “As we have the strength of a vertical setup and a strong control over quality, we are confident of achieving at least 50% growth this year. Also, these inherent strengths give us the wings to now enter the highly competitive womenswear segment.”

The apparel brand will make the official announcement about its foray into the new segment once all its strategies are in place, it said.

Further, Trigger Apparels is working aggressively on various sustainable aspects and on assuring sustainability through its product offerings.

The newly appointed President is also expected to bring freshness to an already successful brand. Sailendra is a graduate of the University of Buckingham and has deep roots in textile business as he comes from a textile business family. He has previously worked with companies like The Rajaratna Mills Ltd. and Sundaram Clayton Ltd.

Currently, Trigger Apparels offers jeans, trousers and shirts for only men. Going forward, similar products (western wear) are expected to be offered for women.

Trigger Apparels, a part of the Coimbatore-based prestigious KG Denim Group, also has the capability to offer special washes and operates through advanced manufacturing setups for high-quality fashion products.

The company marks a pan-India presence with its 120 franchise-run exclusive brands outlets (EBOs) and feels that the trust of its customers sets the base for its future growth.
