Huntsman Textile Effects, a leading provider of dyes and chemicals, has launched HIGH IQ Sun protect guard for garments. This technology increases the lifetime of the garment by providing it Ultra Protection Factor (UPF) of 50 and above.
It works as a shield against UV-A and UV-B rays, which ensures that the fabric does not lose its colour even after many washes and long exposure to the sunlight.
It can be integrated in wide array of garments and fabrics including clothing for kids, new born babies, swimwear, sportswear, workwear, school uniforms, hats, pram covers etc. Also, it maintains the natural aesthetic of the fabric.
Moreover, this technology complies with the requirements of bluesign® for safe and sustainable textile production and is certified with Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX. The company will authorise the use of HIGH IQ label only to the mills that pass the Huntsman’s stringent standards.
