GTI, Cambodia clocks 83% Q2 rise in revenue!

Grand Twins International (GTI), a Taiwan-based garment firm in Cambodia, has just seen an impressive second quarter!

With revenue touching a whopping US $ 43.5 million in Q2, the increase is astounding 83 per cent from what it was in the previous year.

The net profit too saw a massive jump during the said period; it surged by 123 per cent to reach US $ 205, 520.

This was presented in GTI’s quarterly report that was filed to Cambodia Securities Exchange. GTI has been supplying apparels to major European firms including the globally renowned Adidas.

Ecstatic over the huge increase, Yang Shaw Shin, Chairman, GTI, said the firm is striving to strengthen relationship with its customers including Adidas to increase orders for this year.

He was also optimistic that the company expects to make a better profit in the next quarter.

The quarterly report also highlighted that for 6 months (up to 30 June), GTI’s revenue totalled more than US $ 80 million, a rise of 70 per cent from what it was in the previous year, whereas after-tax profits were up by 21 per cent at US $ 377,800.
