T-CON, a renowned Germany-based SAP consulting and systems company, has joined hands with China’s Pacific Textiles in its efforts to venture into Asia.

At the recently concluded Fastmarkets RISI Asian Conference in Shanghai, Hubert Tsang, Chief Information Officer, Pacific Textiles, and Bradley Robb, International Business Development Manager, T.CON introduced this collaboration to all the participants from Asia.

They also demonstrated to the participants how T.CON’s full-scale optimisation tool TRIM Suite can generate and optimise slitting patterns for the pulp and paper industry.

Pacific Textiles is a long-standing SAP customer with ample expertise in SAP. Interestingly, in Asia there is an increasing demand for specialised industry expertise for SAP projects. And, T.CON has found in Pacific Textiles its new implementation partner for products like that of TRIM Suite.

Notably, the employees of the internal SAP team are working under the direction of Hubert Tsang in a newly found subsidiary that is being positioned as an implementation partner for other businesses in the region.

The collaboration is likely to help Pacific Textiles gain access to T.CON’s in-depth industry expertise as well as help SAP add T.CON products like TRIM Suite to its portfolio.

Producing excellent and highly scalable products and having a strong and reliable partner familiar with the regional situation is T.CON’s strategy to venture into China and other Asian countries.
