Challenge Apparels Limited, a Chinese private textile firm, aims to increase its investment and establish a state-of-the-art garment manufacturing facility in Lahore.
While confirming on this, Yao Jing, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, said, this will enhance Pakistan’s garment exports and help generate thousands of new jobs in the country in next couple of years.
He said this during his recent meeting with Abdul Razak Dawood, Advisor to the PM on Commerce, Textile, Industries & Production and Investment.
Abdul Razak welcomed the move of the Chinese textile company and said that Pakistan Government would go all out to give its complete support in this regard.
“Government of Pakistan will introduce more policies that will attract more local and foreign investment into the country,” further substantiated Abdul Razak.

Is facilitating investors and consequently many multinational firms have started coming to Pakistan in different sectors of the economy.
Agreeing to Abdul Razak, Yao Jing averred that there is an active private sector in China whose private investment is yet another potential area of cooperation with Pakistan.
