BASF, a well known chemical company has set a new benchmark in maintaining safety standards by introducing its latest innovation – Helizarin® EcoSafe, a zero add – on formaldehyde pigment printing system. The new system is designed specifically for sensitive textile applications such as infant and baby clothing and complies with the strict Japanese Law 112, which requires non-detectable limits of formaldehyde for infant clothing.
Helizarin® EcoSafe can extensively reduce water and energy consumption by eliminating the after-washing process as well as the subsequent drying process. This results in shorter overall processing time and reduced cost. The innovative system includes Helizarin® Binder CS, Luprintol® Booster ZAF, Lutexal® Thickener GP Eco.
