Archroma, the leader in colour and speciality chemical manufacturing, has bought all the remaining minority shares in M. Dohmen S.A., a multi-national group which is known for its manufacturing expertise of textile dyes and chemicals for automotive, carpet and clothing segments.
The Swiss company first bought a share of 49 per cent in 2014 followed by an additional 26 per cent stake last year and now, it has completely bought the textile dye and chemical provider M. Dohmen by acquiring the remaining 25 per cent stake. However, the financial details of the acquisition have not beem revealed by any of the involved parties.
Marcos Furrer, President, Brand & Performance Textile Specialties and Innovation, Archroma, said, that with the acquisition, consumers of both the brands will be able to access more products and solutions that is best suited for their processes and markets, backed by the Switzerland-based company’s leadership towards quality, innovation and sustainability.
Archroma is already catering to the demands of customers from both companies with the combined product collection on all markets where both companies have a presence. The range of products from both the companies compliments each other particularly in terms of dyes and chemicals for synthetic fibres and wool.
This acquisition will allow Archroma to have full access of the M. Dohmen as part of its own portfolio, further allowing its experts across the world to focus on the betterment of its customers’ needs and requirements.
