Luxury Australian fashion brand Zimmermann, has kept up with its expansion plans in the U.S with two new boutiques based in Pacific Palisades and San Francisco in California, this month.
Spread out across 1,561 square-foot, the Pacific Palisades store marks the Australian brand’s second free-standing store within the Los Angeles area, joining Zimmermann’s Melrose Place location. The 2,800 square-foot shop in San Francisco’s Jackson Square neighborhood will be the brand’s northernmost store situated on the West Coast.
The store boasts of a light, feminine aesthetic interiors designed by Australian architect Don McQualter of Studio McQualter. Custom metalwork, millwork and visual merchandising fixtures for both stores, as well as vintage furniture items such as 1930’s Art Deco armchairs, Charles Dudouyt oak dining tables made of solid oak and 1976 vintage table lamps by Elio Martinelli for Matinelli Luce feature as statement pieces within the store space.
“Pacific Palisades has a very airy coastal feel, it feels very much like home. We are looking forward to presenting our collections within our own stores’ unique environment,” Nicky Zimmermann, Co-founder of Zimmermann said.
Following these unveilings, the brand is set to reveal further expansion plans into the U.S. and European retail markets in 2019.
