Inditex Group, which owns Zara, has, reportedly, said that it is investing €238 million to build Zara’s new headquarters.
As per media reports, the work on the new headquarters is expected to begin in January 2022.
The move is seen as a part of retailer’s efforts to expand its facilities in Arteixo in Northern Spain.
Spread over an area of 170,000 square metres across five floors, new headquarters will stand out not only for simple designs and large open space, but also for energy efficiency.
While the ground floor will include Zara’s pattern making and pilot store areas, the first and second floors will be home to menswear and kidswear section, respectively. The womenswear section will be housed in the third and fourth floors of the office.
The Group had witnessed its revenue increase by 37 per cent to €19.3 billion in the 9-month period that ended 31 October 2021.
