Notwithstanding the adverse impact of COVID-19 on fashion retailers, who witnessed a significant drop in sales this festive season, two new retail outlets – one that of Yoyoso and another a newly founded lifestyle brand namely Roar – started operating in Dhaka’s upscale Banani area, lately, as per media reports.
Established in 2013, Yoyoso is an international fast fashion designer brand, which made its foray into capital Dhaka after Fakir Apparels, a sister concern of Fakir Group, brought it to the country.
With the introduction of Yoyoso in Bangladesh, Fakir Apparels has kickstarted its journey in the retail sector.
Fast-fashion brand Yoyoso reportedly sells products ranging from health and beauty, home necessities and stationery to digital accessories, at affordable rates.
In the same building that houses Yoyoso, Roar, too has launched its operations.
Roar is a domestic lifestyle brand founded by Mahir Haroon, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the brand.
