Multi-brand luxury Indian fashion boutique The Amethyst Room will hold a showcase for womenswear brand Aish from 17th-23rd February in Chennai’s RA Puram to present its everyday take on fusion style.
Aish will retail a mix of its latest designs, shopper favourites and best-sellers, and one-of-a-kind pieces at The Amethyst Room, the premium store announced in a press release. The pop-up will highlight Aish’s use of fabrics such as cotton, silk and linen as well as its loose, relaxed silhouettes. Clothing in the showcase will include loose layers, kaftans, wrap tops, a-line skirts, and shirt dresses among others. Aish is also known for its fusion style prints and the event will feature bold ginghams, neon pinstripes, painterly florals, and abstract shapes.
The Amethyst Room holds numerous designer showcases to bring labels to Chennai. The boutique recently held a pop-up for handloom brand Shades of India and brought Nikasha to the city to launch its new resort wear line ‘Nikasha Goa’ in November 2023.
Aish is based in Kolkata and specialises in women’s resort wear. The label was launched by designer Nupur Goenka and retails from multi-brand stores both on- and offline including Le Mill, Aloja, and Ajio Luxe among others. They make kaftans, dresses and separates using natural fabrics.
