Forever 21, the renowned apparel retailer from the US, is making another attempt to enter China – third time to be precise.
The retailer, reportedly, now has plans to launch a new bricks-and-mortar store in China by June end.
If media reports are to be believed, the fashion retailer would open the physical store in the city of Taizhou at Jingjiang Impression City shopping centre.
The efforts to re-enter China started last year when it started selling exclusively online through platforms such as Vipshop and Pinduoduo.
This was followed by the launch of a store on Alibaba’s Tmall marketplace.
It will be interesting to see how successfully the retailer is able to establish itself in the country this time.
Forever 21 was founded in 1984 and sells accessories, beauty products, home goods and apparels for women, men and children.
