United Colors of Benetton, the renowned fashion label from Italy, aims to increase its presence in Myanmar.
Following the appointment of its new global creative director Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the fashion brand’s 2 collections – The Rainbow Machine and The Colour Wave – are expected to reach Myanmar in 2020.
These collections were showcased at the recently held Milan Fashion Week.
The brand said in a statement that it has plans to expand in Myanmar in 2020 and is looking forward to catering to the audience with their unique product offerings.
The statement also read that the fashion brand has received overwhelming response so far and will strive towards exciting its consumers in the country with knit, colours and sustainability.
It was in 2017 that United Colors of Benetton had entered Myanmar by launching a store in Junction City Level 2 followed soon by another one in Yangon International Airport.
The number of stores, in all probability, will see increase in the coming years.
