Uniqlo, the renowned Japan-based fast fashion label, will soon manufacture and sell face masks that will be made from fabrics used for making its Airism underwear.
The fashion brand has been, lately, getting demands from its shoppers for protective gears especially in these tough times when the whole world is battling coronavirus.
Unlike many other fashion labels, Uniqlo had been keeping away from making face masks, but increasing demand from customers has now forced the brand to change its approach.
The brand, reportedly, said that an official date to launch the face masks as well as the price details will be announced later.
The specially developed fabric is not only known for its silky and smooth feel, but also helps keep the wearer cool in hot summers by releasing heat and moisture.
And therefore one expects the face masks made of these fabrics to be as big success as the Airism underwear.
