With the launch of its third and largest shop in Mumbai, international clothing brand Uniqlo has increased its retail footprint. Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan, Uniqlo’s India brand ambassador, opened the store in the Phoenix Palladium Mall.
The brand’s complete line of Lifewear and all of its fall/winter 2024 merchandise for men, women, children, and infants will be available at the two-story store.
“This is a very exciting time in Uniqlo’s journey in India,” said Kenji Inoue, chief operating officer at Uniqlo India, in a statement regarding the opening of the new store. “Mumbai residents have been wonderfully kind to us since we opened our first store there last year, and our newest location in this brand-new neighbourhood demonstrates our dedication to providing even more customers throughout the city with stylish, functional, and reasonably priced clothing,” he added.
“I am excited to be a part of the opening of Uniqlo’s newest and largest store in Mumbai,” Kareena Kapoor Khan continued. “Japanese attention to precision and timeless styles make Uniqlo apparel incredibly high-quality and a terrific addition to any ensemble,” she added.
With 14 physical locations already in India, Uniqlo intends to establish its 15th location on 29th November in New Delhi.
