British fashion retailer John Lewis has teamed up with renowned footwear brand and maker Hotter Shoes, which is seen more as a part of latter’s new business strategy.
The alliance will enable Hotter Shoes to sell its products through the website of John Lewis – starting October 2021.
What’s notable here is that it’s the third collaboration for Hotter Shoes in last three months. Earlier this month, it had announced its association with the German e-commerce firm Zalando.
Back in July, the shoe maker had relaunched on the website of Debenhams following the latter’s acquisition by British e-tailer Boohoo.
Expressing pride and delight over the association with fashion retailer John Lewis, Victoria Betts, Chief Commercial Officer, Hotter Shoes, said that the partnership will offer fantastic synergy for customer bases of both the retailers.
Partnerships with brands seem to have become the most important part of Hotter Shoes’ business strategy in 2021. The footwear retailer added that going forward it will continue to work with premium brands that match its brand values and core customer base.
John Lewis was founded in 1864, and today it has over 40 stores across Great Britain, with concessions in the Republic of Ireland and Australia.
Hotter Shoes was founded in 1959 and is best known for its stylish, yet comfortable, footwear that are sold online and in UK stores.
