Trusox, a UK-based sports brand, is in India!

And it marks its entry in the country by launching socks that assist sportsperson with improved performance on the field.

So, what characterises these performance-based socks!

They have anti-slip panels, wet grip technology and maximum moisture wicking. Trusox uses patented IN//EXtech non-slip performance pad on the inside and outside of the socks to maximise the grip in footwear.

Besides, the company’s 2.0 technology further ensures better performance as soon as the users start to perspire – ensuring better stability and speed.

The socks are available for sale on Amazon and and are priced at Rs. 3,500 a pair.

These socks are created by former footballer and coach Jim Cherneski.

Sanil Sachar, co-owner, Trusox said “The performance gear market in India has been growing at a fast clip of 12 per cent year-on-year and there is immense potential for growth.”

Sachar has already made an investment of around US $ 1 million in the company and is hoping that within the next 2 years the company will generate 20 per cent of its revenue from India.

The company sells around 800 pairs a day globally and around 45 per cent of the players in the English Premier League use Trusox, the company claims.
