TK Maxx, a subsidiary of TJX, sells discounted goods from fashion & accessories to homeware and gifting.
It will be unveiling its first retail outlet in South Australia later this year. The discount chain is not new to Australia and the new store opening will mark its 60th store in the country.
The outlet will be located in Adelaide and promises to be stocked with fashion choices for all along with a comprehensive array of product ranges in the beauty, accessories, luggage and homeware segments.
The exact site where the store will be situated has not yet been revealed by the company.
Speaking on the development, Tony Dunseath, Assistant Vice President of Marketing at TJX Australia, said “TK Maxx patrons have been requesting us to come to Adelaide for some time now, which makes it even more exciting to officially announce that we will be opening our first South Australian store, becoming a member of the Adelaide community.”
TK Maxx’s parent TJX has been suffering from temporary store closures worldwide and it is only recently that they started to open up for non-essential retail.
With over 500 locations all across Europe, the Massachusetts-based firm earned revenue of US $ 38.9 billion in 2018 with a net income of US $ 3.06 billion.
