Pomelo, the fashion retailer backed by JD.com, made its debut in Thailand on 20 December 2018.
The pop up store, which opened at Siam Square One, offers affordable but premium apparels ranging from 390 THB to 1,590 THB.
The fashion brand has introduced its menswear label Pomelo Man (PM) exclusively on an App that will be available on Android as well as iOS.
It gives Thai shoppers an opportunity to visit their nearest PM store and get sized by the outlet staff, following which the shoppers do not have to worry about sizing while shopping through app again.
Pomelo seems to have innovatively addressed the concern of sizing, which still remains a big drawback while shopping online.
In its bid to make itself stand out, PM will be providing an exclusive ‘Man Lounge’ for men, which will be completely equipped with free Wi-Fi, USB charging stations and video games.
Besides, through technological aid, PM will be helping its customers find their ‘Perfect Fit’. The brand added that any customer who downloaded and registered their App will be given free t-shirts according to their size.
David Jou, CEO, Pomelo, summed up by saying “With PM we want to re-imagine men’s fashion and give an effortless shopping experience to shoppers.”
