16 fashion retailers, which include the likes of Ted Baker, Hobbs, Whistles and Jigsaw, have come forward and joined the #SaveShops movement.
The #SaveShops initiative encourages people in the UK to buy British products from British brands, with the intent to save retail jobs and revive the high street.
The objective of #SaveShops is also to raise the awareness of in-store services that help support a better and safer shopping experience for customers.
The #SaveShops website encourages different multichannel services provided by fashion retailers, such as click-and-collect, home delivery as well as personal shopping appointments.
Retailers offering any of the aforementioned services are invited to sign up the movement.
There couldn’t have been a better time than now for the retailers to come together and ensure safe and easy shopping for the shoppers as the Government had confirmed earlier this week that non-essential retailers can reopen once lockdown ends on 2 December.
Corroborating further, Georgina Clark, Brand Director, Crew Clothing, said “Our stores and the staff who work in them play a significant role in their local communities and #SaveShops is an important opportunity to ensure this continues much ahead of the Christmas season.” Crew Clothing too is a part of the movement.
The initiative was set up by OneStock, which provides order management systems for multichannel brands.
