Superdry, the British fashion retailer, has launched ‘The Growing Futures Programme’ – a new employment scheme.
As per media reports, the retailer’s aforementioned programme aims to financially support ethnic minority staff.
The Growing Futures Programme will, reportedly, help all those candidates from ethnic minority background who have been offered jobs at Superdry’s head office and are struggling to take up the new roles due to financial constraints.
Notably, all the eligible candidates can submit an application during the interview stage.
The retailer, through the application, will expect the applicants to research and identify the financial implications of joining the Superdry team and provide the details in the application.
Then the HR will evaluate all the applications and provide support to those who are finally selected for a job at Superdry.
Corroborating on the new programme, the retailer, reportedly, said that diversity and inclusion has been a fundamental pillar for Superdry, and it is something that it underlines strongly with action and commitment.
Founded in 2003, Superdry is a Cheltenham-based clothing retailer, which generated £871.7 million in 2019. Its products combine vintage Americana styling with Japanese inspired graphics.
