Boboli, the children’s apparel brand from Spain, has said that it expects to increase its 2021 turnover to grow by 14 per cent to clock €44.5 million this fiscal, which started in October 2021.
If Boboli manages to achieve these numbers, it would exceed those recorded in 2019 – and all this despite the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis.
In the first half of the fiscal year (October 2021 to March 2022), the brand recorded a turnover of €24 million at a growth of 17 per cent (from 2019) and 23 per cent (from 2021).
The kidswear brand has attributed the rise to multi-brand channel and exports, which grew by about 35 per cent.
Notably, sales have been doing very well in multi-brand stores, especially in the 50 corners that Boboli has in El Corte Inglés, where it recently opened new spaces in locations such as Lisbon, Madrid, Salamanca and La Coruña.
Founded in 1984, Boboli is based in Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona), and employs some 270 workers and is present in more than 70 countries.
