Shinsegae Group, the retail conglomerate from South Korea, announced today that it will soon launch its luxury concept store BoonTheShop at Bergdorf Goodman, an upscale US department store.
BoonTheShop marks the South Korean Group’s third international retail outlet. It is worth noting here that BoonTheShop had first spread its wings overseas by opening a high-end department store at Barneys New York.
The first store was followed by a second one at Le Bon Marche in Paris.
The newly launched store will showcase nearly 100 selected products from minimalist ready-to-wear collections for men and women, such as leather skirts.
Being South Korea’s maiden luxury fashion concept outlet, the brand has introduced several globally renowned high end labels in the South Korean market, including Kenzo, Stella McCartney and No. 21.
Started 6 decades back, the Group owns brands such as Shinsegae and E-Mart and is at present the largest retailer in South Korea.
