Good 3 months for this British online fashion brand!
Sosandar, the women’s fashion retailer, has seen its revenue rise by 6 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to £3.98 million in the 3 months that ended 31 December 2020.
The quarter, thus, saw good sales from Black Friday and Christmas holidays as well.
The good revenue numbers were achieved despite a 66 per cent reduction (£1.61 million) in marketing expenditure during the period.
The online retailer said that the investment it made during the year to enhance its range of products was key to its good business performance.
It is important to mention here that over the last year Sosandar has put efforts to add more knitwear, loungewear, outerwear and denim to its rich range of products – and results are there to be seen.
The online retailer had a net cash of £3.9 million on 31 December 2020, all thanks to its efforts and careful cost management.
Notably, the EBITDA slumped by nearly 60 per cent Y-o-Y during the period.
Sosandar, reportedly, has been seeing continuous improvement in its returns, which had fallen to 46 per cent in 2019.
After witnessing a good half-yearly sales jump of 52 per cent, the last 3 months have yet again been a period of record performance for the e-tailer.
