
Indian luxury fashion designers, Shivan and Narresh, venture into the designer kidswear market in India as they look forward to launch their exclusive designer kidswear collection.
This expansion-oriented move intends to broaden the customer base for the designers and further strengthen their hold in the designerwear arena.
The designer pair had previously collaborated with Little Tags for launching kids swimwear collection and now seeks to independently conceptualise designer kidswear collection to seize the blooming kidswear market in India.
The brand gathered recognition for its luxury holiday and swimwear designs and now wants to venture into diversification by capturing wider audience for its expansion.
“We have collaborated with Little Tags for a kidswear swim collection in the past, but launching it as a standalone category is yet to be done. Our research team has recognised the opportunity and we are looking forward to exploring it further,” Narresh Kukreja, Head Designer at Shivan & Narresh told IANS.
Shivan and Narresh had also worked with online fashion retail platform Kooves to release its first-ever clothing line for both men and women which was applauded for its distinctiveness along with affordability.
Referring to the experience, Narresh Kukreja added, “Change is constant. In current times where every business is aiming to fight the mundane, it is essential to disrupt and break the pattern. Having woven a lifestyle of holiday luxury for Indian millennials for almost a decade, it is imperative to delve into the minds of a younger demographic.”
