rue21 has come a long way from where it was 3 years ago!
Yes, 3 years since emerging from bankruptcy, US-based rue21 has announced that it will open 15 physical stores starting January 2021.
The American retailer for women’s casual apparels has been increasing its comparable sales every year – surpassing all the expectations and predictions.
In fact, rue21 has been one of those few brands that experienced upward trend ever since it emerged from store closures and lockdowns.
After opening 3 stores recently, rue21 is now excited about new launches next year.
Consistent performance over the last 3 years helped the retailer get rid of debt and there has hardly been a fashion retailer whose bankruptcy journey was so smooth and fast.
2020 has been eventful for rue21 – more on positive note – as the year saw the retailer bring former HSN President Bill Brand as next CEO, in addition to expanding its plus size offerings in 61 stores.
