Ross Stores, Inc., the largest off-price apparel retailer in the US, has announced the opening of 39 new stores.
30 new stores of Ross Dress for Less® and 9 DD’s Discounts® stores have been opened across 17 states in the country.
With the launch of these 39 stores, Ross Stores has achieved the target of completing its 2020 store growth plans – the target of achieving 66 for the calendar year.
Ross Dress for Less® and 9 DD’s Discounts® together run more than 1,800 off-price apparel stores in 39 states, District of Columbia and Guam.
Speaking about the expansion, Gregg McGillis, Group Executive Vice President, Property Development, said “We remain committed to growing our Ross and DD’s footprints across our existing markets as well as expansion into our newer markets.”
He also said that besides adding 12 stores to Ross’ largest markets of California, Texas and Florida, 2 stores have been opened in Ohio – the retailer’s newest mid-western state.
